侯友宜:讓新北市有更好的未來
(記者黃秀麗新北報導)第三任新北市長侯友宜從卸任市長朱立倫手中接下印信，展開無縫接軌施政。侯友宜說，要以簡政便民、行動治理及智能城市這三個亮點，在朱團隊打下的基礎，繼續為民打拚為民服務。
侯友宜說，新團隊一定全力以赴為市民打造一個安居樂業的國際城市。對於這裡很熟悉，跟著朱市長的七年時光學習很多，與團隊努力打拚建設，改變這座城市，看見新北市進步。在市民廣場辦理就職典禮深具意義，能與市民緊密結合在一起，廣場上的「竹筍」不僅是一個地標，八年來每到冬季更變成國際觀光客來台灣，最喜歡的新北歡樂耶誕城，這只是眾多改變的一個小小例子。
致詞中，侯友宜表示，從基層警察做起到現在，三十八年公職生涯中，沒有政治現實，離政治也很遠，呼叫器及手機永遠不離身，二十 四小時不關機，只要民眾打電話來，一定跑到最前線，幫助民眾解決困難。侯友宜說，他也不是一個空口說白話的人，今天接任市長，一定腳踏實地，在朱立倫打下的基礎及大家滿滿的鼓勵全力打拚向前走，讓新北市有更好的未來。
今天第三任新北市長就職典禮在市民廣場進行，包括林豐正、尤清等歷任縣長、各級民意代表、仕紳及市民朋友都前來觀禮，禮成後，由侯市長陪同前市長朱立倫上車，從市民廣場到市府大門口，擠滿人潮歡送前市長，獻花的、擁抱的、合影留念的，既溫馨又感人，場面極為熱情。(自立晚報2018/12/25)
